Moline Public Library to discuss security, lighting upgrade

The Moline Public Library plans to discuss an upgrade to its security and lighting in March.

The Moline Public Library plans to discuss an upgrade to its security and lighting in March.

The Moline Public Library Buildings and Grounds Committee will meet March 3 at the library to discuss security and lighting improvements.

The committee will consider adding additional security cameras and upgrading the library's lights to LED fixtures.

The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. in the Platinum Room.

The Moline Public Library is located at 3210 41st St.

The Buildings and Grounds Committee is a subcommittee of the Moline Public Library board of trustees, which includes President Wayne Smith, Vice President Sara Wynn and Secretary Sue Blackall, in addition to members Scott Bull, Gary Koeller, Regina Nelson, Colleen Rafferty, Dee Runnels and JoAnn Waldron.
