WIU plans to meet and review 2017 cost guarantee recommendations.
The Western Illinois University (WIU) board will discuss the details of its 2017 cost guarantee at a meeting on March 11 in the University Union Capitol Rooms.
WIU is the only Illinois university to guarantee its incoming classes a fixed four-year rate on tuition, fees, room and food.
The guarantee is constructed in terms of a per-hour rate paid for each of those services.
As part of the discussion at the March 11 meeting, the board will discuss student health insurance fees and the school's utility easements.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
