Moline's fire department promotes three new officers

Fire and police board met Feb. 11.

The Moline board of fire and police commissioners met Feb. 11 at Moline City Hall to announce the appointment of three fire department officers.

Jeffrey Snyder was promoted to fire battalion chief; Kevin Neff was promoted to fire captain; and Travis Noyd was promoted to fire lieutenant.

Each of the promotions followed a mandatory six-month probationary period.

The commissioners also received and reviewed updated promotion eligibility lists for future promotions to captain and lieutenant from Moline Human Resources Manager Alison Fleming.

The meeting was adjourned after 15 minutes.
