Minutes Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting July 6th, 2016
Board Members Present: Chairman Fuhr, Mr. Van Daele, Mr. Brown, Mr. Coyne, and Mr. DeLoose
Staff Present: Gregory Thorpe and Doug Moslehi
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
A motion was made to approve the June 1st, 2016 minutes. The motion was made by Mr. Coyne, and seconded by Mr. Brown. A voice vote was taken, motion carried.
CASE: SU-16-213 DENSITY INCREASE RITA K. BOARDMAN TRUST The Rock Island County Zoning Board of Appeals held a hearing at the request of the RITA K. BOARDMAN TRUST for a Density Increase to split off 10 acres and a home, in an AG-1 Agricultural Preservation District, as authorized in Section 3-2-10.3H of the Rock Island County Code of Ordinances. There were no objectors present. A motion was made to approve the request by Mr. DeLoose and seconded by Mr. Coyne. The vote to approve the request was as follows: Chairman Fuhr – Yes; Mr. Brown – Yes, Mr. Van Daele – No, Mr. Coyne – Yes, and Mr. DeLoose– Yes. Motion carried.
CASE: SU-16-214 PUBLIC RIDING STABLE RICHARD MILLER TRUST & STANLEY MILLER TRUST The Rock Island County Zoning Board of Appeals held a hearing at the request of the RICHARD MILLER TRUST & STANLEY MILLER TRUST to consider a Rezoning from a Special Use Permit for a Public Stable in an AG-2 General Agricultural District. There were no objectors present. A motion was made to approve the motion, by Mr. Brown and seconded by Mr. VanDaele. The vote to approve the request was as follows: Chairman Fuhr – Yes; Mr. Brown – Yes; Mr. Van Daele – Yes; Mr. Coyne – Yes, and Mr. DeLoose – Yes. Motion carried.
CASE RZ-16-107 AG-2 to SE-1 RICHARD MILLER TRUST & STANLEY MILLER TRUST The Rock Island County Zoning Board of Appeals held a hearing at the request of the RICHARD MILLER TRUST & STANLEY MILLER TRUST to consider a rezoning from AG-2 General Agricultural District to SE-1 Suburban Estates Low Density. There were no objectors present. A motion was made to approve the request by Mr. Brown and seconded by Mr. Coyne. The vote to approve was as follows: Chairman Fuhr – Yes; Mr. Brown – Yes, Mr. Van Daele – Yes; Mr. Coyne – Yes, and Mr. DeLoose – Yes. Motion carried.
CASE RZ-16-108 AG-2 to SE-2 RICHARD MILLER TRUST & STANLEY MILLER TRUST The Rock Island County Zoning Board of Appeals held a hearing at the request of the RICHARD MILLER TRUST & STANLEY MILLER TRUST to consider a rezoning from AG-2 General Agricultural District to SE-2 Suburban Estates Medium Density. There were no objectors present. A motion was made to approve the request by Mr. DeLoose and seconded by Mr. VanDaele. The vote to approve was as follows: Chairman Fuhr – Yes; Mr. Brown – Yes, Mr. Van Daele – Yes; Mr. Coyne – Yes, and Mr. DeLoose – Yes. Motion carried.
The following Finding of Facts from June 1, 2016 was approved with a motion by Mr. Van Daele and second by Mr. Brown. A voice vote was taken, motion carried.
