Rock Island County Finance Committee to review budget items

The Rock Island County Finance Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, Sept. 15.

This committee shall be responsible for for making recommendations concerning County fiscal policies and financial administration and settlement recommendations. This committee shall also have the responsibility for the preparation of the annual appropriation and levy ordinances for the County of Rock Island. The review of all internal and external audits of the county departments and the offices of all elected county officials. The review and disposition of grant request. The appropriation of salaries of all county employees, appointed officials and office holders.
