The village of Hinsdale Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is responsible for directing all hiring, promoting and disciplining of police officers and firefighters in the municipality. The board is made up of three members appointed by the village president for three-year terms. Margaret Woulfe Arens is the chairman of the board. It meets on an as-needed basis.
