City of Silvis Public Service met June 5.
Here is the minutes as provided by the council:
Chairwoman Unsicker called the meeting to order at 5:30pm and noted a quorum was present for one agenda item; discussion on the membership with the QC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Chairwoman Unsicker explained that the city has been a member for several years
and elected officials attend several of their events. Clerk Nelson noted that they are also working on a Hero Street commemorative stamp. The cost for membership is
$750 per year. Committee was in agreement to continue with the membership and
the item would be placed on the June 6" COW agenda.
There were no other agenda items and the meeting was adjourned at 5:35pm.
