The Rock Island County (RICO) Republicans Central Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 20, at the group’s Rock Island headquarters beginning at 6 p.m.
Among new business agenda items expected to be addressed are a discussion on electing Republicans for county board seats and in county-wide elections, and a conversation about RICO board’s decision to downsize a task force.
“All good Republicans are invited,” RICO leaders noted in a notice posted to the group’s website. “Be part of the solution.”
Group members also highlighted that Aug. 15 has now been set aside as Republican Day at the Illinois State Fair.
