Illinois State House District 72 issued the following announcement on Sept. 24
Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White Announces Expired Driver’s Licenses and ID Cards Extended Until Feb. 1, 2021.
If there are purposes other than driving that you need to show your license, and an expired license is not accepted, you are still permitted and encouraged to renew online if eligible at http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com, or in-person at any Driver Services Facility.
