Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Center recently issued the following announcement.
The 2021 Big Brothers Big Sisters Plant Sale is now open for ordering plants for your business, group or for yourself! Beautiful annual plants and flowers for your garden or facility projects. Great selection, great prices and superb quality. Flats, half flats, potted plants and hanging baskets. Also, the opportunity to donate a hanging basket to an essential worker or senior in a nursing home. Plants will be available for pick up or delivery May 4-7. Ordering options include:
CORPORATE ORDERS: Businesses, municipalities or organizations place corporate orders to beautify their facilities or property entrances, walkways and terraces.
GROUP ORDERS: Gather your employees, members or neighbors together and place a GROUP ORDER. The beauty of a group order is that no matter what the amount of the order of each individual, the total will qualify the order to be delivered for FREE to one location - - - your place of business or other designated location. Each group order is separated into the individual orders from the group to make it easy to determine each person’s order.
INDIVIDUAL ORDERS: Anyone can order from the BBBS Plant Sale! Any individual order of $50 or more (within the Quad Cities) will be delivered at no charge to your home or other designated location. Order for your garden, beautification project, or order some hanging baskets for your mom, a teacher or friend. All orders can also be picked up at the Plant Sale site (Northwest Bank & Trust, 100 E. Kimberly Rd. at Welcome Way in Davenport). Any order under $50 can be picked up May 5-7 at Northwest Bank.
