Rock Island County 708 Mental Health Board met Sept. 21,

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Minutes of the meeting of the Board held starting at 5:35 p.m.

Present were:

Allison, Patricia Darrow, Lili Robb, Joseph Bell, Marcy Enburg, Carla Clark, Beverly Munos, Brian Cole, Lori Puentes, Luis Pat Moreno, executive director Attending via teleconference:

Absent : Lili Darrow ; Brian Munos, and Joseph Robb

Guest / visitors:

A quorum was present.

The meeting was called to order at 5:35 p.m.by Pat Moreno.

Motion by Luis to approve the minutes from the August 31, 2022 board meeting. Seconded by Marcy. Motion carried.

Director’s Report:

• Robert Young Center & CADS have signed their contracts. They have though not yet submitted their billing.

• By November, would like the board to make some decisions regarding granting additional funds to agencies to bring their funding allocated to them to match their request.

• Would like for there to be a 3–4-year plan to address the budget and any carryover funds we have. County Board’s budget hearing is in October. By the end of October, we should know more about our financial status.

• The next agency the board will visit is Court Services (2116 – 25th Ave., R.I.) on September 26th at 4:00.

• Though not a funded agency, Pat visited New Kingdom Trail Riders. The program director will make a presentation to the board at our November meeting.

• The By-laws committee is yet to meet to review and make recommendations for the revision of the by-laws.

President’s items:

Motion for adjournment made by Lori and seconded by Luis. Meeting adjourned at 6:02 p.m.
