NEW BUSINESS
1. Police Officer Probationary Appointments (Darren Gault, Police Chief)
Explanation: Corbin Timm (number one candidate), Justin Griser (number two candidate), Dalton Martin (number four candidate), and Andrew Russell (number five candidate) have successfully completed the background investigation and accepted contingent employment offers.

Staff Recommendation: Staff request probationary appointment of Corbin Timm effective April 27, 2023 and Justin Griser, Dalton Martin, and Andrew Russell effective May 3, 2023, contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.
2. Police Officer Probationary Period Extension (Darren Gault, Police Chief)
Explanation: Officer Branden Bowden was hired May 4, 2022. During his probationary period, he suffered a medical emergency on September 24, 2022. Officer Bowden was released back to full duty March 31, 2023. Attachment: No
Staff Recommendation: Staff recommend extension of Officer Bowden’s probationary period by 6 months to November 4, 2023.
3. Certification of Police Sergeant Eligibility Register (Leah Miller, HR Director)
Explanation: Based on the results of the most recent promotional examination process, a Police Sergeant Eligibility Register has been compiled.

Staff Recommendation: Staff request certification of the Police Sergeant Eligibility Register as presented.
4. Removal of Tanner Logan from the Firefighter/Paramedic Eligibility Register (Steve Regenwether, Fire Chief)
Explanation: In his email, dated April 3, 2023 to Elizabeth McKenzie, HR Specialist, Tanner Logan requested he be removed from the current Firefighter/Paramedic Eligibility Register as he has accepted a position with another department.

Staff Recommendation: Staff request removal of Tanner Logan from the current Firefighter/Paramedic Eligibility Register at his request.
5. Illinois Fire/Police Commissioners Association Membership (Commissioners)
Explanation: The Commissioners will formally discuss the potential membership to the Illinois Fire/Police Commissioners Association.
