5. Consider Zoning Board of Appeals Cases

a. SU-23-206 James & Constance Whan; AN

6. Consider Highway Items

a. Consider approval of bids received on Friday, June 30th, 2023 for Bowling Road District

b. Consider County Aid Request for Bowling Township

c. Consider permission to close portion of County Highway 59; Loud Thunder Rd for Illinois City Fire Department Fundraiser

d. Consider Sign Request for QC PastPort

e. Consider Request for Engine Braking Sign in Joslin along IL 92

7. The Committee may enter in Closed Session per the following:

 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (1) – The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity.

 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (2) – Collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees.

8. Consider action as necessary based on closed session

9. Committee member opportunity for brief comment (no decisions will be made)

10. Adjourn

The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Public Works & Facilities Committee will be Monday, August 7th, 2023 in the Conference Room of the County Administration Office
