APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Traffic Engineering Committee meeting minutes of June 6, 2023: PASSED

AGENDA ITEMS

1. Townhome Manager of 1300 6th Avenue complaint about line of sight when pulling out of parking lot and parked cars blocking entrance.

Explanation: Parking is allowed on south side of 6th Avenue. Townhome manager states that parked cars block entry to building and cause a line of sight issue when pulling out of parking lot and onto 6th Avenue. Manager is requesting that parking be removed one space, each side, of parking lot entrance. Manager is requesting visible signage and freshly painted parking lines.

Staff Recommendation: Josh Whiting visited the site and provided pictures. Group discussed line of sight for the entrance. Kris Johnson stated that the east side shouldn’t have a line of site issue due to the one-way street. Eric Wells made a motion to only remove one spot west of the entrance. David Dryer seconded. Motion passed.
