One Rock Island County resident 80 years of age and older tested positive for COVID-19 on June 2, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In total, there have been 53 positive cases reported in Rock Island County among residents 80 and older, accounting for 7.8 percent of all cases in the county. Through June 2, Rock Island County has reported a total of 683 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 24 of which have ended with the victim’s death.
