Two Rock Island County residents under 20 years of age tested positive for COVID-19 on August 9, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In total, there have been 138 positive cases reported in Rock Island County among residents under 20, accounting for 7.9 percent of all cases in the county. Through August 9, Rock Island County has reported a total of 1,745 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 36 of which have ended with the victim’s death.
