There were 41 offenders released on parole during 2019 that live in Moline zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Rock Island Today.

The data shows that 33 men and eight women were released in Moline. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced in 2018 and the oldest was a 53-year-old man sentenced in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jamie L. Lopez. He was convicted in 1995 when he was 16 years old. He is now 41.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
