Analysis: Moline-Coal Valley School District 40 administrators rank 167th highest in state for average salary in 2024

Administrators in Moline-Coal Valley School District 40 earn an average of $130,912 per year, ranking 167th highest in the state, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

The average salary in the district in 2024 was 5.3% higher than in 2023 and 9.1% more than in 2022. District administrators made 9.7% more than the state average of $119,384.

Moline-Coal Valley School District 40 enrolled 7,206 students in the 2023-24 school year. This means there was an average of 198 students for every administrator, compared to the statewide ratio of 135 to 1.
