Baylor’s Lorena Awou, United Township alum, set for NCAA Tournament appearance

Lorena Awou, a former United Township High School basketball standout now playing for the Baylor Lady Bears, will take part in the NCAA Tournament.

Baylor enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face the 11th seeded Nebraska Cornhuskers in the opening round.

Their first matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
