1. Approve payment of bills/claims by vendor report for the period of February 11 – February 24, 2025

2. Approve payroll for the period February 11 – 25, 2025

3. Approve minutes from February 10, 2025 City Council Meeting

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Approve Ordinance No. O-25-03 – An Ordinance Implementing a Municipal Grocery Retailers’ Occupation Tax and a Municipal Grocery Service Occupation Tax for the City of Colona, IL.

2. Continue Discussion Maguire Iron, Inc. – Capital Improvement Program Proposal. Council possible action moving forward with proposal identifying total cost at end of first year contract. Also, Council must identify and allocate funds or find proper sourcing for total indebtedness of the one, year contract prior to entering into the contract.

3. Continue Discussion – Centrex Energy Partners – Investment Grade Audit Proposal for infrastructure and investment improvements. Possible action to move forward with proposal and identity found source and allocate funds prior to entering into contract. First Phase Funds will be $9,750.00

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Approve Mayoral Appointment – City Collector – Tentative Start Date: On or Before March 17th 2025.

2. Discuss Non-Home Rule Local Sales Tax – Please Review Materials Provided.

3. Approve Sewer Adjustment of $121.75 for Broken Water Line in Crawl Space. No water went into City’s Sewer. Laurie Andresen 703 11th Avenue

CLOSED SESSION:

1. Exceptions – 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2) – (2) Collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees.
