City of Kewanee Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Aug. 21.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet in at 5:00 PM, Wednesday August 21, 2024. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at Kewanee City Hall, 401 East Third Street. There are two variance petitions upon which a hearing will be conducted. They are discussed below. 

1: 625 Dewey Ave., Matt Jenkins, A variance to the maximum allowed lot coverage in a residential district. 

2: 420 N. Grace Ave., Richard Werderman, A variance to the allowed materials for a 6’ privacy fence in a R-2 One-Family Dwelling District to allow the construction of 6’ privacy fence constructed with corrugated metal siding.
