City of Moline Traffic Engineering Committee will meet June 11.

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

Members of the public may participate: 

1. In-person attendance is allowed. Meeting address is given above. 

2. You may also send an email comment to lklauer@moline.il.us. Emailed comments will  be read during public comments. Deadline to submit a comment is June 10, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.

3. Approval of minutes of the Traffic Engineering Committee meeting of May 7, 2024. 

4. Resident request for a radar speed board on 35th Avenue and 15th Street.  

Explanation: Resident has requested a speed radar board to be placed on 35th Avenue due to speeding  motorists. 

5. Resident request speed limit on 15th Street C, south of 31st Avenue, be lowered to 20 mph.  Explanation: Resident complains of a speeding vehicles on this street, near park.  

Any person with disabilities who wishes to attend the meeting who requires a special accommodation, or any other person requiring a special accommodation in attending the meeting, should notify the City Engineer’s Office, 524-2350, at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting time.
