Saturday morning, the Sherrard Fire Department hosted its pancake and sausage breakfast, featuring their renowned blueberry pancakes. The event served as an opportunity to support the local volunteer fire department. Attendees of all ages also enjoyed photo opportunities and activities with the Easter Bunny. Appreciation was expressed to Sherrard FD and Boy Scout Troop 425 for their assistance.
Simultaneously, the Oxford Fire Department in Alpha also had their griddle running. For those with a sweet tooth, a bake sale was available. Thanks were extended to Oxford FD for their participation.
Additionally, an evening was spent with the Macomb FFA, a group noted for their talent. Special mention was made of Macie Bartlow, who will advance in a competition reciting the FFA creed. Congratulations to all scholarship recipients and award honorees.
