The request, made by Rock Island Today, a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, seeks detailed information about candidates running in the upcoming election.

The requested records include a list of all candidates along with their first, middle, and last names. The office they are running for and its jurisdiction, as well as the party affiliation of each candidate is also requested.

In addition to this basic information about the candidates, Rock Island Today has also asked for all contact information for each candidate. This includes their address, phone number, and email address.
