On Friday, March 14, former Moline High School standout George Hoss Jr.’s current college team, the Marian Sabres, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Lawrence Vikings.
The game took place at Capital Credit Union Park. This was their first matchup against the Vikings this season.
The Sabres’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 11 a.m. at Lee Pfund Stadium against Saint Mary’s Cardinals.
