On Saturday, April 12, former Geneseo High School standout AJ Weller’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.
The game took place at Duffy Bass Field. This was their second matchup against the Purple Aces this season.
The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Duffy Bass Field against Evansville Purple Aces.
