On August 14, 14 white residents of Rock Island County had their COVID-19 test return positive, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Since the start of the pandemic, 637 white residents have tested positive for COVID-19, constituting 34 percent of the positive cases in Rock Island County.
