On Saturday, May 17, former Sherrard High School standout Ava Hartman’s current collegiate team the Eastern Illinois Panthers won 2-10 against the UCF Knights in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.
The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field at 3:55 p.m. and was the first matchup against the UCF Knights in the tournament.
