The Rock Island-Milan School District No. 41 board of education met May 10 to approve the adoption of Eureka Math from Great Minds for K-5th grade, beginning next school year, for a total cost is $122,333.77.
The board also authorized bills for payment dated April 29 in the amount of $3,555,840.25; the purchase of Gameplan, a primary curriculum resource for General Music program at the cost of $35,957.78; the purchase of 30 MacBook Pro laptops at a total cost of $29,970; and the Property Tax Rebate program with the City of Rock Island and Village of Milan.
Finally, members discussed revisions to the 2016-17 Code of Conduct handbook; the revision to board policy 3:50; and revisions to board policies as recommended. It also approved the May fundraiser requests.
