Citing his commitment to economic improvement, the Illinois Growth PAC and Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce have endorsed Bill Long for the Rock Island County Board, District 15.
“We appreciate your commitment to economic development, regional cooperation and business growth,” the groups said in a letter to the candidate. “During your interview, we were really impressed with your ideas on collaborating to save the county money as well as reduction of the county board.”
An offshoot of the Quad Cities Chamber, Illinois Growth PAC is a non-partisan political action committee backing “pro-economy” candidates in state and local elections, according to the chamber’s website.
