Q3 real estate sales report: Rock Island

Median prices rose in Rock Island over last year, and are down 10.9 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to third quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From July to September, 27 homes sold in Rock Island for a median price of $86,500. That's 0.1 percent higher than median home sale prices for the third quarter of 2017.

In the third quarter, there were no foreclosures in Rock Island.

Median property tax for homeowners in Rock Island was $2,415.24 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.8 percent of their home's value in taxes.
