City of Moline Plan Commission met Nov. 12.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

a. 2025-36-PC: Consideration of a positive recommendation to City Council for a request from City of Moline for a future land use map amendment to the Comprehensive Plan/South Airport District Development Plan and such other and further amendment approvals as may be required, of an approximate 232.34-acre, more or less, vacant tract of land, generally located on the west side of 72nd Street, between 78th Avenue on the north and 100th Avenue on the south, including a small 3-acre portion of land on the east side of 72nd Street of, approximately 1950 feet south of 78th Avenue, within the City Limits of Moline not assigned street addresses (PINs 17-28-100-008; -300-002; -400-002; and 17-33-100- 002), from Residential (Higher-Density Mix), Residential (Higher-to-Medium-Density Mix), and Greenway Conservation Zone to Public/Semi-Public Future Land Use. 

b. 2025-37-PC: Consideration of a positive recommendation to City Council for a request from City of Moline for a reclassification of zoning of a 176.09-acre, more or less, vacant tract of land, generally located on the west side of 72nd Street, approximately 1950 feet south of 78th Avenue on the north and 100th Avenue on the south, within the City Limits of Moline not assigned street addresses (PINs 17-28- 300-002 and 17-33-100-002), from “R-2” One-Family Residence and “AG-2” General Agricultural districts to entirely “AG-2” General Agricultural District. 

c. 2025-38-PC: Consideration of a Resolution granting the City of Moline a special use permit to allow a Commercial Solar Energy System on a portion of a 99.59-acre, more or less, vacant tract of land, generally located on the west side of 72nd Street, approximately 2320 feet south of 78th Avenue, within the City Limits of Moline not assigned a street address (PIN 17-28-300-002), as provided in Section 35- 3409(g) of the Moline Zoning and Land Development Code (The Code), and such other and further zoning approvals as may be required. The site is proposed to be zoned “AG-2” General Agricultural district.
