On Sunday, April 6, former Geneseo High School standout AJ Weller’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at Emory G. Bauer Field. This was their third matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 5 p.m. at Duffy Bass Field against Illinois Fighting Illini.
