United Township High School District 30 announced on March 16 the athletics schedule for the week of March 16 to March 21, 2026. The schedule includes baseball, softball, soccer, and track and field events involving United Township High School teams.

The weekly athletics schedule is important for students, families, and community members who follow local high school sports. It provides information about game times, locations, and opponents so that supporters can stay informed about upcoming competitions.

According to the district’s announcement, baseball games are scheduled against Edwardsville High School and Moline Senior High School on March 19. Soccer matches for junior varsity and varsity girls’ teams will take place at home against Freeport High School on the same day. Additional baseball games are set for March 20 against Rockridge High School and an away game with Edwardsville. The softball varsity girls’ team will play Kewanee High School away on March 20. On Saturday, March 21, track and field athletes will compete in the Streaks Invite Indoor at Monmouth College alongside multiple opponents. Baseball and soccer teams will also face Mercer County High School and Washington High School respectively.

United Township High School District 30 serves Rock Island and Henry counties in Illinois according to the Illinois Report Card. The district enrolled 1,705 students in grades nine through twelve during the 2019-2020 school year and is located in East Moline according to state data.

The district employs a total of 96 teachers with an average salary of $65,666 before pension contributions; approximately half are women (48.3 percent) while men make up just over half (51.7 percent). No teachers had more than ten absences in a school year according to the Illinois State Board of Education. Demographically, the student body is composed of approximately 51 percent White students, with Black students making up sixteen percent, Hispanic students twenty-five percent, and Asian students nearly three percent as reported by ISBE.

In terms of finances, United Township High School District 30 spent $19,622 per student in fiscal year 2020 for a total expenditure of $33,454,743 according to official records. Chronic truancy affected seventy-eight students during the same period—a rate of about four point six percent—well below the statewide average of nine point six percent according to ISBE data.
