On Wednesday, April 23, former Geneseo High School standout AJ Weller’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 14-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northern Illinois Huskies.
The game took place at Duffy Bass Field. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.
The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 6 p.m. at Itchy Jones Stadium against Southern Illinois Salukis.
