On Wednesday, March 5, former Geneseo High School standout AJ Weller’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.
The game took place at J. L. Johnson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.
The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at O’Brate Stadium against Oklahoma State Cowboys.
