The East Moline School District recently met to decide on staff changes.
The East Moline District 37 school board met Feb. 22 at the district offices to approve a number of personnel changes.
The board was expected to approve the hiring of special education aide Teresa Hockaday and teacher Angelica Villarreal; the resignation of Ridgewood playground aide Ashley Bultinck; the dismissal of Bowlesburg playground aide Toni Mallett; and leaves of absence for Brian Stombaugh and Flycka Haskins.
The board was also expected to discuss the job description and salary schedule for a new payroll specialist position, as well a $200,000 transfer of funds from the district's transportation fund to its operations and maintenance fund, in order to supply working cash.
