East Moline met Tuesday to discuss park closures.
The East Moline park board considered closing a number of the city's parks Tuesday, March 15 at the City Hall Annex.
The idea was suggested by the East Moline City Council as a way of saving on maintenance expenses.
The board will also vote on food purchases, beverage purchases and a flyer design for its volunteer appreciation dinner scheduled for April 19.
The City Hall Annex is located at 912 16th St.
