Four Rock Island teachers recently received Master Teacher awards.

Four Rock Island Milan School District 41 teachers will be honored April 29 at the iWireless Center in Moline as this year's Dispatch/Argus Master Teachers.

Calley Barnes of Eugene Field Elementary, Michelle Greenwood and Chad Kennelly of Rock Island High School, and Korah Winn of Rock Island Academy will receive the honors.

“Congratulations to these four outstanding teachers,” Rock Island-Milan School District 41 Superintendent Mike Oberhaus said. “They definitely go above and beyond for our students and classrooms at their respective schools. We are very proud to have them represent RIMSD.”

The awards ceremony will include a reception at 5:30 p.m., a dinner at 6:30 p.m and award presentations at 7:40 p.m.

Tickets are $42 and can be purchased online at QCOnline.com/masterteacher.

The iWireless Center is located at 1201 River Drive in Moline.
