East Moline decided to repaint the Wiman water tower at a recent meeting.
The East Moline City Council met March 21 at East Moline City Hall to vote on an agreement with Veenstra & Kimm Inc. for repainting the Wiman water tower.
The council was also expected to approve the payment of its bills and accept an $80,138 bid from Martin Equipment Company and National Joint Powers Alliance for a new backhoe.
The council also planned to hold a closed session to discuss the city's search for a new city administrator.
