The Augustana women's basketball team claimed two wins in its recent tour of Italy, according to the school's athletic website.
The Vikings downed San Raffaelle 80-60 on July 14 in Rome in their first game of the tour. Augustana outscored San Raffaelle 18-11 in the third quarter and 20-9 in the fourth quarter to pull away from a tight halftime score.
Kaycee Kallenberger, a senior, led the Vikings with 17 points, while junior Victoria Allen added 11 points. Sophomore Sadie Roberts had eight points, and senior Mikayla Fallon had seven points.
On July 16, Augustana topped an Olympia Sport's School junior squad 91-26 in Pesaro. Sophomore Carly McCameron had 14 points; Kallenberger added 12 points. Senior Olivia Mayer, junior Tiffany Bertoni, sophomore Clare Kramer and Roberts each had eight points as all 14 Vikings scored.
