Tuesday, February 7, 2017
Council Meeting: The City Council meeting came to order at 5:30 p.m. The Council met in regular session in
the Council Chambers at City Hall.
Roll Call: Roll call was taken with Mayor Raes, Aldermen Rodriguez, Parker, Wendt, Zelnio, Turner,
Schoonmaker and Waldron present. Absent during roll call: Alderman Acri. Alderman Acri joined the meeting
at 5:31 p.m.
Public Comment: No members of the public were present at the hearing.
Executive Session:
Alderman Parker, seconded by Alderman Wendt, moved for Executive Session, for the purpose of discussion of
Collective Negotiating Matters-5 ILCS 120/2(C)(2) and Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline,
Performance, or Dismissal of Specific Employees-5 ILCS 120/2(C)(1). Motion carried on roll call with the
following vote: Ayes: Aldermen Rodriguez, Parker, Wendt, Zelnio, Turner, Schoonmaker, Waldron and Acri;
nays: none.
City Council convened in Executive Session at 5:31 p.m.
Council reconvened in open session at 6:26 p.m.
On motion of Alderman Wendt, seconded by Alderman Turner, Council adjourned at 6:26 p.m.
