City of Silvis Negotiation, Personnel and Insurance met June 6.
Here is the minutes as provided by the committee:
Chairman Rockwell called the meeting to order at 6:00pm and noted a quorum was present. There is one agenda item for consideration.
Chairman Rockwell provided an explanation of benefit coverages and renewal rates for the ancillary benefits. Current dental provider is Kansas City and they proposed renewal rates that were 4.29% higher than last year. Hub was able to provide United Health Care (UHC) rates with renewal at (17.84%) decrease in annual fees. The life and disability provider remains unchanged; Kansas City. Committee was in agreement with the proposed renewal firm and rates. The new rates will take effect July 1, 2017. The item would be placed on the June 6" COW agenda for consideration.
There were no other agenda items and the meeting was adjourned at 6:03pm.
