City of Aledo Joint Ordinance & Police and Personnel Committee met January 3.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

The Joint Ordinance & Police and Personnel Committee of the City of Aledo met in Open Session in the Council Chambers of the City Hall building on January 03, 2018. Chairmen Michael Chausse called the meeting to order at 5:48 P.M. The roll was called, whereupon the following committee members answered present:

Aldermen Ila Bertrand, Terry Bewley, Michael Chausse, Jim Holmes, and Randy Slater. Mayor Chris Hagloch. Aldermen Jay Doherty And Chris Kopp were excused.

Also present were Erin Knackstedt, City Administrator, Chris Sullivan, Chief of Police, Justin Blaser, Director of Public Works & Utilities, and Jarod Dale, City Clerk.

Approval of Minutes: No Report.

Old Business: No Report.

New Business: No Report.

Closed Session: Motion was made by Ald. Chausse and seconded by Ald. Bertrand to convene in Executive Session under Section 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act for discussion of Personnel. A Unanimous voice vote followed in agreement. The meeting was recessed to closed session at 5:50 p.m.

Reconvene In Open Session: Council reconvened in open session at 5:55 p.m. Roll call was taken with the following answering present: Aldermen Bertrand, Bewley, Chausse, Holmes, Kopp, And Slater, Mayor Hagloch, as well as, City Administrator Knackstedt, Chief Sullivan, Dpw Blaser, and City Clerk Dale.

Adjournment: There being no further business, motion was made by Alderman Bewley and seconded by Alderman Bertrand that the meeting be adjourned. Unanimous voice vote followed in agreement. Meeting was adjourned at 5:56 p.m.
