City of Silvis Ordinance Committee met March 12.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
Chairman Pavelonis called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm and noted a quorum was present for one agenda item.
Division 2 section 70-62 and 70-70 renewal date for secondhand vehicle sales is the first day of May in section 70-62 yet in 70-70 the expiration date is March 31". Committee recommendation would be to change the expiration date from March 31st to April 30th to coincide with the fiscal year. Committee was in agreement to move forward with the recommendation to change the expiration date from March 31st, to April 30th and the item would be placed on the March 21st cow agenda. This would amend section 70-70 of the current code of ordinances. In addition the last paragraph of section 70-62 was discussed but no further action was taken.
There were no other agenda items and the meeting was adjourned at 5:36 pm.
