Alwood Community Unit School District 225, Moline Coal Valley Community Unit School District 40 and Rock Island Milan School District 41 reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to firearms during the 2016-17 school year in Quad Cities, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
