The Black Hawk College men’s golf team shattered their own team point score record while earning the school’s third straight NJCAA Region IV title.
BHC racked up a score of 869 points while winning their 14th NJCAA title in the last 20 years, shattering the record they set in 2017 by 32 strokes, according to the school's website.
Freshmen Rielly McGranahan paced Black Hawk, firing a record-setting 210 to claim medalist honors. The strong showing earned BHC a date in the NJCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship in Plymouth, Ind. on for May 18.
The Black Hawk men’s team is coached by Gary Huber with Mark Grchan, Wes Llewellyn and Butch Haverland serving as assistants.
