Report: Cambridge spent $10,252 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Cambridge Community Unit School District 227 is up 2.4 percent from five years ago, according to a Rock Island Today analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Henry County school district spent $10,013 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,252 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 509 to 478.

Cambridge's spending in 2017-18 was 23.1 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
