Port Byron home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Port Byron rose by $29,900 while total sales decreased by 62.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $255,900 - a 13.2% increase over the $226,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Port Byron in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Port Byron for 2017 was $3,829. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,834. This marks an decrease of 0.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
