The data shows that 24 men and one woman were released in the East Moline zip code. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2016, and the oldest was a 60-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Aaron Goodwin. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2011, when he was 34 years old. He is now 42.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
